We Remember Polly Our family had to say goodbye to one of our furry babies earlier this week, Pollyana. It has been a rough couple of days for us here at home. For those of you that don't know, Grandma Kaye adopted her back in the day. She saw that Polly had two different colored eyes and was no longer considered to be a puppy. Polly had a rough past, which caused her to be a little aggressive and anxiety-ridden. She knew Polly would have a hard time getting adopted & wanted to give her a new life in a loving home. After Grandma Kaye passed away, we were blessed with a new furry family member. We had a rough adjustment at first. She tried to eat all of us at some point & fought with every furry friend we brought into our life. She eventually realized she was safe & loved. She began to relax and we loved seeing her personality come out. She had many strange quirks that we grew to love. We never went a night without eating crushed ice cubes and giving squishes and kisses. Even though she tried to eat Guinness many times when he was a puppy, he learned that she was just scared. As he grew up, he tried to always make her feel safe. He ran beside her and stood guard while she enjoyed her daily sunbathing sessions. He misses her already. Through all of her ups and downs, she taught us that every animal comes with a past and has potential for a great future. She taught us compassion, patience, & understanding. We are really happy to know she is reunited with her mommy again. We hope you are free of anxiety, pain free, and happy. We are thankful for all the years we had together. I hope you know I always wanted you to feel safe - I was always on your side. We will never forget you. We will miss you. See you again someday, pretty girl! We love you, Princess P
